We will ask you for some information in advance which can be submitted via email.

We’ll then need to visit your home to conduct a full survey and an air blower test. The time required does vary depending on the size of the house, but the home visit for most audits takes about 2-3 hours.

This is an integral part of our energy audit, as it enables us to assess the air tightness of your home, and how much air is escaping because of poor insulation, unsealed gaps or cracks.

We close all doors and windows, and then install a blower by the door which will remove all air from the house when turned on. This process takes approximately 15 mins and it is safe for family members and pets to stay inside the house whilst it’s being conducted.

This is incredibly difficult to answer, as every home and situation is unique.

However, with our report you’ll have a greater understanding of the installation costs, running costs, and the approximate payback period for the improvements that are deemed suitable for your home.
