Energy Audits ESOS

Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme

ESOS-Lead-Assessor

Businesses are required to report under the Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) by 5th March 2025 for Phase 3, which includes the Notice of Compliance (NOC) and the ESOS Phase 3 Action Plan.

We are Energy Audits UK; our mission is to provide SME’s with impartial and accurate advice to ensure they comply with the new regulations whilst driving down costs through operational energy performance modelling.

Get ahead on ESOS Phase 4 submissions with Energy Audits UK ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme) is an integral part of the UK government’s drive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.

ESOS seeks to address this through organisations with an annual turnover in excess of £44 million and/or with 250 employees or more.

How does ESOS work?

In essence, organisations that fall into this category must identify their total energy annual consumption from their buildings, processes and transport usage and determine energy saving opportunities through collaboration with the organisation and an ESOS lead assessor.

How can Energy Audits UK Help?

Working with our knowledgeable ESOS Lead assessor, we can take the stress out of ESOS. Our support includes:

  • Ensuring your business complies with new Government regulations
  • Identifying opportunities to increase your energy efficiency and save Costs
  • The creation and ongoing support of an action plan

In addition, ISO 50001 - EnMS is an energy management system that is a globally recognised standard demonstrating the strongest commitment to energy performance improvement to both internal and external business stakeholders. It is also recognised as a key driving force for improving tender and bid applications.

It can be implemented to deliver ESOS Phase 4 and/or as a standalone approach to continuous energy performance improvement along the pathway way to net zero 2050.

With dedicated ISO 50001 implementation consultants, we can implement ISO 50001 in organisations of all types, sizes, sectors, and geographic locations.

Net Zero by 2050 - Our energy experts can work with you to create a robust strategy to prepare for NetZero by 2050.

Energy Audit Surveys - We can identify the most efficient ways to reduce your energy consumption and costs with an in-depth analysis of your energy consumption.

SME's

Engaging SMEs on a reducing energy and carbon pathway

SMEs are the backbone of the UK economy We apply operational energy performance modelling – for benchmarking and the generation of realistic performance saving opportunities for all the organisations energy consumption and carbon emissions.

This involves identifying and auditing all significant energy consumption and carbon emissions in terms of process, buildings and transport. Identifying relevant energy and carbon emission saving opportunities along with simple payback periods associated, capital expenditure.

Energy Management Systems

Energy Management Systems – Continuous Energy Saving Activities within a Quality Management Systems Framework
ISO 50001 is focused on reducing energy consumption, increasing energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions within the framework of ISO 5001 Energy Management System (EnMS).

iso 5001

EAuk facilitate the implementation of ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) to manage and improve your organisations energy performance
The Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) permits organisations to use UKAS accredited ISO 50001 certification as an alternative to producing a four-yearly ESOS report(s)

Net zero by 2050

We at EAuk net zero carbon consultant(s)

net zero

To keep global warming to no more than 1.5°C – as called for in the Paris

Agreement – emissions need to be reduced by 45% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. The requirements for net zero 2050 are here to stay. We at EAuk net zero carbon consultant(s) can provide an incremental Pathway to NetZero 2050

In conjunction you, our client, we create a robust incremental strategy to help prepare for Net Zero to steer your organisation towards compliance with your climate obligations and position your business to capitalise on the many benefits that come with reaching net zero. There is a long incremental road ahead, for example, typical UK building stock has an energy intensity of 220 kWhpe/㎡/year. To meet Net Zero 2050, it needs to at 55 kWhpe/㎡/year.

Air Conditioning Systems Inspection

Air Conditioning Systems Inspection – Focused on their Management, Control, Efficiency and Maintenance to identify increased performance efficiency and reduced energy consumption and emissions
In addition, the TM44 report EAuk provide profile of considerations for replacement of existing end-of-life HEVAC plant and equipment

Air Conditioning Inspection

TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections are required for buildings where air conditioning systems have a combined total cooling capacity greater than 12kW. Inspections must be carried out on a 5 yearly cycle
The TM44 Inspection is designed to improve the efficiency energy consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions of the air conditioning systems installed in your site where our energy assessors are accredited and able to deliver both level 3 (simple) and level 4 (complex) assessments with nationwide coverage

DEC

Display Energy Certificate

Solar and wind

A DEC provides the operational energy performance of a building based on actual energy consumption for a period of 12 months. It is a foundation tool used to assess the actual operating efficiency upon with future improvement actions can be identified

We at EAuk use these as a basis on which to build energy performance improvements on ESOS, ISO 50001 and the pathway to net zero 2050 strategies

IAQ

Indoor Air Quality

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) can adversely affect people and process. We at EAuk can conduct a range of surveys to meet individual requirements to produce findings and potential solutions to these problems in line with current legislation

Indoor Air Quality

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) can adversely affect people and process. We at EAuk can conduct a range of surveys to meet individual requirements to produce findings and potential solutions to these problems in line with current legislation

Risks may be compounded in indoor environments such as offices and production areas with poor ventilation, poor air distribution, high recirculation rates, high occupant density and dust and fume. Our service consists of measuring, quantifying and analysing findings along with potential solutions in our EAuk IAQ reports to meet your bespoke requirements
